I just wanted to share this better news I got this morning.
You know that my new ortho focused these last weeks only on trying
to close my open bite. Well he was saying this morning that it worked
now for about 75 %. I have 2 pics here that proove the progress.
This one dates from about a month ago :

And this one I took today :

I think I gained about 2 to 3 mm less open bite. My ortho thinks it will
even be better when my occlusion is improved. Also this will not be very
easy I fear. It involves correcting more my class 2 bite and widening
of my lower jaw.
Anyway, after having been very close to be needing jaw surgery, my
ortho is convinced that this will not be necessary anymore. Needless
to say that this is quite a relief ...
To achieve this improvement, my ortho had to grind off quite some
amount of my molars. Especially the second ones. I felt quite sad
when that happened. I never had a cavity or something like that, and
now, quite some amount of tooth needed to go, due to (probably) bad
treatment by my first ortho.
But now I think I finally am ... on the right track

But the detour I made will be more than an extra year ...
