2nd adjustment tomorrow

#1 Post by Chris1960 »

1st adjustment thread:
viewtopic.php?t=23302

My teeth have moved a lot in two months but they've stalled the last 2 weeks. So we'll see what they do this time. 1st adjustment they just wire-tied the front four incisors. Id love for them to get to work closing the extraction gaps.

So they took the wire ties off the front incisors.
They changed the arch wire. I'm assuming that it's thicker but I can't tell.
And I got my first power chain. :jump:
Other than that I don't know what's going on. He doesn't really explain much.

But....
For the 5 minutes that the arch wire was off I was in heaven.

I can't wait for my first adjustment... which isn't until february 28th. But still... I'm counting down :) Sorry you can't chew- I am starting to eat like normal again after being braced for the first time.

Less sore today. I'm about to give up on wondering where my teeth are supposed to be going. It just looks like the gaps from the extractions are way too big.

But am getting a nice u shaped arch. Previously my lower teeth made this shape:

..........
..........

..........
--_--_

Now they're more like this

............
............

\........... /
.\--_ _ _/

Still big gaps.
