Hey Tomm,
yeah I acutally refrained from staring at them quite often, Every otherweek when i Thoroughly investigate any changes I get so excited. You should try it
And your bottom teeth have aligned real quick , and the top is well on its way there, get that one canine inline then your only looking at minor detailing .
Great progress man
Cheers

2nd adjustment!!

I just got back from my 2nd adjustment and I was better prepared this time. I made sure to take advil before and it totally helped ease the pain of opening and closing those damon doors! I'm also about 6 days away from my 3 month braceversary and I'm pretty stoked about the progress. My renegade canine is finally coming down to join the rest of the group! I didn't notice how much it moved until I looked at the day 1 photos at my ortho office. Check it out:

Do you see those evil blue things between my molars?? It's the revenge of the spacers!! I'm going back in two weeks to get molar bands on my last molars so they can be moved in line. I also need to get some wisdom teeth pulled before then... I refused to get the impacted ones taken out so we compromised on extracting the erupted ones. It still sucks that I have to do that though! It's amazing what we go through for a nice smile huh? ;)

Anyways, thank you all for being here. I wouldn't be able to do this without your support and knowing that I'm not alone on this crazy journey. Keep smiling everyone! :)

Awesome progress! I love progress reports! Bummer about the spacers. Why didn't they band those molars when they banded the others? What a drag to go through the spacer experience twice. Hopefully this will be your last date with the dreadful little bands!

Thanks Catfish :) I have no idea why they didn't band the last molars in the beginning but I forgot just how much spacers suck. My chewing molars are so sensitive that I'm on a mush diet again. Can't wait till I can eat semi-normal food again!

Hey Tommm, fellow 3 monther.

Your progress is great!
Shame about the spacers - argh! I really hope I don't have to have more at some point - wouldn't be surprised tho! Hope they're not bugging you too much.

Congrats on nearly 3 months-me too.

3 months braceversary and wisdom teeth extraction!!

The last 3 months have gone by like a blur and I can't believe how much has changed! Sometimes I can't wait to get these braces off but looking at progress pictures makes it sooo worth it.

So I just got back from getting two wisdom teeth pulled. It didn't hurt at all during the procedure but the socket looked scary! Now I'm feeling woozy but that's about it. I'm glad I took the next few days off from work!

Anyways, I dug up some actual day 1 pics from my camera phone. It's an odd angle and an open mouth but I think the change to today is ridiculous. Thanks to everyone as always for your wonderful support. It's nice to be a part of the metal mouth club with you all :)

Thanks guys! No elastics yet. I'm getting my 3rd molars (?the ones in the back) banded in a week so I think they're still working on straightening and developing the arch before they start working on the bite. I can't wait for that to happen as my bite is terrible atm.
