It's Moving Day!

#1 Post by ingyandbert »

I’m on Day 9 in braces. A few days ago, I noticed I could feel one tooth in particular, down on the bottom right. Then I noticed my brackets starting to rub in a couple of new areas on my left top and bottom. Last night, I realized I no longer felt that bottom right tooth but instead a top right tooth. I finally put two and two together -- my teeth are beginning to move! The ortho told me they all need to shift slightly to the left, and I guess that’s why the brackets are starting to rub on the left side. It may be old hat to you veterans but for a newbie, this is very exciting. I can’t wait until the changes become more visible. Right now, I can feel them but nothing looks any different.

Yes, Mr. Ingy took a photo the day of my installation. We plan to take one every month to document the progress. I can't wait to see some visible results!
