Your First Adjustment...
I had my first adjustment yesterday (if you can call it that) All I got was my wires clipped that was it - 5 minutes - Is that always what happens on your first adjustment or does it mean my teeth are moving slower than expected

I don't think it means that you're teeth are moving slower though! 
On my first "adjustment" they didn't do ANYTHING. NOTHING.

ATTACH SOME MORE STUFF AND GET THESE THINGS MOVING!
Almost the same for the second one too! At the very end he changed his mind and rigged up my tooth to the archwire with a wiretie around the spring to "put a little pressure and get it started moving."
Darn skippy we need to get things moving, Mr! I drove for nearly an hour to have you to tell me to come back in a month? ARGGG!
Third one was actually my wisdom tooth removal surgery, and he did evil things then including brakes and more spring. DUDE! You are about to cut stuff out of my mouth with a scaple! Don't adjust me NOW! (Braces adjustment literally 15 minutes before they cut all four of my teeth out.)
So...yeah.... it's disappointing isn't it? I don't even get ligs changed cause I have wireties.

I was actually disapointed that my mouth wasn't sore or anything the next day! Everything feels exactly the same!

They put a partial powerchain over 3 teeth and kind of a "fixed wire powerchain" on my left side. Boy I was happy they didn't remove the archwire.. It was sooooo painful.serendipity wrote:What happened on your first adjustment?
