gums too close to bracket?
They say it is important to brush between the braces and the gums but what if my hind teeth are so short that the braces were basically placed right below the gums? whenever i try to brush back there im basically just brushing my gum which is irritating it. even if i just use a small interdental brush it still hits my gums and it's driving me crazy!! if I dont brush it, i would develop gingivitis but if i do, my gums will just stay irritated.. I dont know what to do, help me please :"(

Just keep brushing gently! As your treatment progresses, those teeth will erupt out of the gum a bit more and your job will get easier. Be sure to keep flossing, too, to clean under the gumline; if you have a Waterpik, that can also be a great way to clean at and under the gumline where there's not a lot of space.

I'm having the same issue. It feels like my teeth are just way too short or something, haha. The brackets on my back molars are right on the gum line and when I try to kinda brush under there with my interdental brushes, it's like hitting a nerve. I just do it really gently and try to brush well with my sonicare.

I noticed this with my brackets as well. I hope it doesn't make brushing more difficult. There is no/hardly any space between my brackets and gums on all my back teeth.

The brackets on my molars look like that as well. But I read your gums should recede slightly once they're off when your gums are not constantly stimulated anymore.
