So i know i've been pretty MIA these last few months (may be last 2 adjustments?)
Been pretty busy with work and life and all...
Sp here are my latest pics....with elastics...
They do a "V" design...from my lower right hook up over my upper right hook then to the hook at the right lower 7
SORRY THAT THE PICS ARE HUGE
For my earlier progress pics check out the 2nd link in my signature....
Im still totally fussing with my "midline" issues...In not convinced its centered. The upper midline in proportion to my face/ mouth.
My ortho keeps checking with his little instruments and keeps reassuring me that its just a visual trick that has something to do with the size of my teeth not being even from the gumline...
Oh well just i'll have to wait and see...Cuz im def not taking these braces off if i still think my midline is off...
A midline has to be really off for somebody not checking for it to notice. One study I read said that it had to be about 4mm off before it was apparent to a casual observer.
My midline is 2-3mm off, and that will be the final result from my treatment (as in, a surgeon put it there), and I'm fine with it. (Centering my midline would have required 2-jaw vs. 1-jaw surgery; I didn't feel like doing that.)
Hey girlfriend,
I just checked out your new thread. Your teeth are looking amazing!!!!. Of course it's been a while since I've been on the board and looking at pictures but you are going to look awesome when you get all this business with your teeth sorted out. As for the mid-line issue, I honestly can't see what you're talking about. I just don't see it. But the important thing is whether you do or not because if you do, when you get your braces off you won't be satisfied with how things look! I think you look awesome though!!
Hey Dee, Sirweird, Ms. Charisma, CC and everyone else who has shown me support and followed my progress thro this awesome but sometimes difficult but totally worth it journey. I've got exciting news!
