Hey Shea, welcome as well!
Maybe we could tell more if you were able to post photos of just your teeth and bite (not entire face)

Rubber bands may be introduced at any stage of treatment; they are not, by themselves, a sign of things going faster or slower than estimated.

Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
No, it's not a rule for the forum. I just find posts easier to read when the proper cases are used.sheababy wrote:is it a rule that i take caps off??? or am not suppose to type with it on... i know it seems like im yelling but i wasnt... sorry ????

Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
Hi there! Congrats on the braces, it will go by faster than you think
.

Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
I got rubber bands at my second adjustment as well. I've had 3 different configurations over my first year and only one length of time between adjustments without the rubber bands. Welcome to the braces journey.
Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
I've had rubber bands since day 1. Would love to be excused from them!
Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
at least i know im not alone

Re: NEW TO THE FORUM
First, welcome! I've had elastics since day 1. My ortho just said it gets the work done quicker, so why not. I've had for 5 mos, but he just switched me to night time only for one side and 24/7 for the other side. I'm glad! One side during the day is 50% easier to deal with.
