This is still me. I am horribly self consious now because people will see the braces.

Don't worry! It will pass (like the rest of everything to do with braces). It took me about a month to be okay with people seeing them. Now I don't care at all. I'm sure it won't be long before you feel the same way, especially once teeth start moving underneath the brackets

well I am going to go to a rehab hospital tomorrow and I will be there for 8 weeks until my ankle heals. because I live alone and there are steps to get up into my house they thought that I should not go home because it won't be anybody there to help take care of me and I won't be able to go and not of the house so I will be there for the next 8 weeks and hopefully my recovery will be pretty quick..

Wishing you well and good healing. I've been through my own orthopedic issues over the last year and while they aren't the same, it is certainly no fun at all.

Thank you starfish and Jill. I am feeling better already. Am a bit concerned though bcause it will be a Long time before I get back in to see my orthodontist.

Ah that's annoying, but the ortho can wait if needs be. Just focus on getting your ankle better for now! Glad to know you are feeling better !

Yep yep. Had a few things going on. It's cold. And it's cold. Did I mention it's cold? (I really shouldn't complain, where I currently live has nothing on the minus's where I used to live! But it's cold!!!)
