Those colors look really, REALLY nice! I love the green chain on top, but I think you're right - it might turn yellow. Fortunately, your ortho will change it out for you (unlike mine... )
Your teeth look really fabulous, too! I see the same thing going on with your bite as mine (except it's my right that's good, and left is wonky). I'm now in zigzag elastics to correct it. They suck... PERIOD! Next to the extraction gap, this bite is taking the longest time to correct. But I see a dim light at the end of the tunnel.
So, if you read my posting just above Cat & bracedsurgerystudent's nice comments (thanks guys!) I was concerned my green ligs were going to turn yellow after eating curry on Thursday night.
Not only did they not turn yellow, but they got a bit a bit darker. Very nice surprise. I liked the colour either way, but I think this shade is maybe nicer.
I believe one big culprit for lig colour is the spice tumeric. I LOVE (love love love) Singapore Noodles and that basically got me into darker colours. I don't think there was much, if any, tumeric in the food we had the other day.
It was a pretty neat place actually, Vancouver's only Tibet restaurant. They also do the spicy Indian/Chinese thing which is fun as well.
I have never actually had curry at all before. I've never experienced any staining from anything and I usually have a strange diet of the randomest things ever. But glad you liked the outcome of your top colour with the curry. Speaking of Curry I wish I had some chicken.
I'm due to get braced (again!) Real Soon Now (either a consult or spacers on Monday, brackets soon afterwards.) Would it be considered odd if I went for the nostalgic choice and got boring grey ligs again? During round 1 when I was a kid (I'm now 34) that was the only choice. They DO, after all, blend well and are non-descript.
I can't wait until I get power chains on my top ceramics just so I can use that same deep blue color as metalsmile in the second picture! That color power chain makes everyone's teeth look so white!
