Weird spaces in bite..should I get braces again?

#1 Post by venusasaboy »

These were never fixed, and i'm not sure why. My bite obviously isn't alligned right, and when I bite down everything looks "off." Also, my 2 teeth on each side of the front ones started slanting toward the front teeth again, as they were before I had braces. I wear my retainers 24/7, so I don't understand this? It's almost like they are beginning to overlap onto the front teeth and I don't even have to wear my retainers all the time since my year is up. Could my retainer possible be adjusted to fix this problem or should I just get braces again? I don't mind, but it seems rather stupid to waste time and money on imperfection. None of my friends can tell that there are imperfections but you can if you look closely.

I am not sure about your question, but if my teeth looked even half that good, I would pee my pants in delight! I think they look awesome.

I think your teeth look fantastic and hope mine look as good when my braces are removed.

If you had issues that were never fixed, perhaps it was because they couldn't be. Never the less, it sounds like this is bothering you so call your ortho and let them know what's going on. They will probably want to see you and can let you know what the options are. Good luck.

I see what you're saying about the teeth next to your centrals becoming inverted, but I would have never noticed it if you hadn't brought it up. I understand where you are coming from, because I'm a perfectionist also, but chances are this is something your ortho can address if you simply call him or her. Hopefully getting braces again is a very drastic measure that you won't have to take. Your teeth look awesome, btw!!

Thank you! I think i've always had an unrealistic idea in my mind about how my teeth should look. Other people can have teeth not even as straight and i will assume they are better looking then mine!
