Well, yesterday was my first adj at 8 weeks.....progress is being made, finally!!!!! They put in a new thicker wire (ouch) (either a 14 or 16 with 'a reverse twist'????? and new ligs.....they were impressed at how clean my clear ligs still were!! My back upper molars are pretty tender last night and today....so far (knock on wood) no headache yet, when I first got them on it lasted over a week... Atleast, hopefully not as long this time!
Now they are working on 'opening my bite'....still not sure when I'll get lowers, but that's ok ! LOL --- It's gonna be hard feeling this discomfort all over my mouth instead of just the upper section!
Next appt is in 6 weeks! Here are a few pics: (still getting use to the sizing thing) - my arch seems to be looking good!
I'm amazed at how much your teeth have moved. That's wonderful. Do remember at what point you looked in the mirror and started seeing the movement? I've been braced for 2 weeks and notice no changes. I'm a bit impatient.

Firstly - thanks for the kind words everyone!!! Hubby said he's seen movement for a while now -- I noticed my arch forming prob after a month , and the last 2 weeks have noticed the front teeth lining up! It's soooo great to finally see things going in the right direction!!! and happy to report - was tender yesterday and a little today - but def not horrible

Thanks!! It doesn't seem like alot to me! >LOL
I have a question---- is it normal to get 'sharp' gum pain that can 'shoot up' along your nose??? seems to be mostly above my canines and related to when I drink something....but am not sure if it's a sinus thing aggrevated by the tooth movement or just a 'movement' /hot/cold sensitivity issue. {{{shrugs shoulders}}}
It's been on and off for about 6 days now....did recently start Colgate sensitive toothpaste.....
