refinement tray question

#1 Post by Coco212 »

This is probably a stupid question but my dentist is out all weekend so I figured I'd ask here. I just got my first refinement tray yesterday, and I noticed that it says it's number 2 (U 02N or whatever). When I first put it in it was extremely tight and my dentist had to shove it on for me because it would barely fit. So now I'm worried that he gave me the wrong tray...shouldn't the first tray say 01? Should I assume that he did give me the wrong one and put in the last one so as to not mess anything up? Of course I'm going to call on Monday, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yeah sounds to me you got the wrong tray! If I were you I would put in the last tray you have.

Thanks for the response! Turns out it was the right tray, they actually count the last tray worn as the first in the refinement series and the first one you wear is labelled number 2. My dentist was impressed that I even noticed, lol.
