Time between appointments

#1 Post by Nervous »

I went in for an appointment on Nov. 17th ’06 and afterwards I was given an appointment for ….Jan. 17th ’07? I thought this was odd but I didn’t say anything. After my appointment in January, I was schedule for an appointment on April 20th! This is really bothering me because I usually had appointments 6-8 weeks apart and now they are 12 weeks apart. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a good or bad thing?

I believe it also depends on the type of braces you have, the self-ligating braces allow for longer intervals between appointments. I have regular ceramics, and I go every 4 weeks. At a time in the beginning it was every 6, but I was happy when I started going every 4.
Braces to be removed June 2007!!! In time for the big day!

Thanks for the info. I was just a little worried but, now that I've learned that this is pretty normal I won't be bothered by it anymore. :D
