Bit into a sub...in public...pure bliss

If you have finished with your orthodontic treatment and are wearing retainers (or will be soon), this is a special place to connect with others in your (enviable) situation. Ask a question or make a comment about life post-braces.

Bit into a sub...in public...pure bliss

#1 Post by Kittysopretty »

I just had to say that I am STILL giddy and thrilled over my new freedom since the barces are off. Biting directly into food is just heavenly...no mirror or bristle-tree needed! :D :P

Isn't having them off GLORIOUS? I enjoy it everytime I eat.

I explained biting into an apple for the first time in almost 3 years comparable to `the second coming of Christ` to one of my friends. (I hope that doesn't offend anyone, it's not meant to!)

I know what you mean, Kitty!

I had a fabulous sandwich right after I had mine removed. (ate it in the car though)

Eating is still such a pleasure!

I've had corn on the cob 3 times since they were removed (just 3 days ago!!). I froze a bunch this summer and keep nuking it for lunch and dinner.

Haven't eaten in public yet. Looking forward to that tomorrow!! Will dream of what I will order. Image
