hi, ripchord and everyone here,

Haven't posted for a while, but just wanted to share this:

I was very excited yesterday when told that I am now 'in the last phase of treatment'. Don't know exactly what this means, but my ortho looked very carefully at my face and bent the new wires so teeth at the front will go up and down to even things up. The wire at top glows purple, too!

I am so used to the braces that it will be really weird when they finally come off! I'm guessing sometime in the autumn, so fingers crossed.

I'll post some pics in the next couple of days.
Oh, and it must have been the excitement, but I popped a bracket for the first time ever last night. Can't get it fixed until next week, but as it is at the back maybe it won't affect the evening up thing too much...

All the best, LITT

Hi LITT
I was just wondering how you were going with getting your gap to stay closed? I am 0.5mm away from mine being closed but it is taking FOREVER and I am getting very bored with it all. My 2 years is up on 31st October and I am hoping that it will be done by then. It's like my front teeth have gone to sleep and need a kickstart. BTW I had the IPR done about six weeks ago and you were right, no big deal and painless.
