Thanks Sweetpea,
You know what is really weird.....I remember when I would come to this site and look at everyones teeth pics. I would be so envious thinking how amazing they looked and thinking how great it would be if mine turnd out looking that great. Now I keep looking at my pics and can't believe those are really my teeth, how can they possibly look so straight! It's crazy....I mean I took the pic and I see them everyday, but it just doesn't seem like they can be mine. It is going to be such a trip when the braces finally come off and I can really see them without all the metal! I can't wait!

Congratulations on having a debanding date, Brandy.

You've nearly joined the ranks of the surgery crowd that have had their debracing. I think that D-day is special for everyone with braces, but extra special for those of us who went the difficult way through the surgery route. Your teeth will look fantastic. Be sure to post some before and after photos when the deed is done.

Congratulations Brandy, that's fantastic news, your teeth and bite both look amazing. I've been reading you blog, and I've found it so informative, and I'd ike to say a huge thank you for posting your list of questions. I saw my surgeon today for a pre op consult, and I'd have been lost without them, I was a nervous wreck

Being in the getting ready for surgery phase, its always good to see someone make it to the end. I wish you well dealing with the load of envy I have for your results and beautiful teeth!

Great news and congrats!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

Yes it is nice to be coming near the end of all this. Having said that I feel I need to add that it really has gone by so very quickly. Much more so then I had originally anticipated.

I did a lot to prepare for my surgery and healing, but probably the most important factor through this whole orthognathic surgery journey is ones attitude. If you go into it, expecting it to be horrible then it probably will be. That which we focus on we get more of. I'm one of those people who always see's the silver lining, or the cup half full, I think my mental attitude has made this whole experience so much better. Even my ortho has commented on how positive I have been through all these procedures. So.....if you are headed into all or even some of this oral drama, try and stay positive. Focus on the prize and confident that it will all be worth it in the end. I know it certainly has been for me!

Goodness, your teeth look frikkin' AWESOME! They're so white and so straight. Have you planned which ex boyfriend you're going to see first when you get them off and gleefully laugh at with your perfect teeth? I only ask because I can't decide where I will show off my new teeth first. I'm just saying - it's something to ponder.

LOL...hadn't really given that much thought, although I do think it would be fun to run into one somewhere and flash em the new improved smile!

Have to think about that.......I will be going back to work the day they are removed so the people I work with will be the first to see me. I have thought how cool it will be when I see all my old friends at our high school reunion though in a few years.

I actually started this whole journey for my sleep apnea, that fact that I have gotten a great new smile is just icing on the cake for me! It is really good icing though! :)

Brandy

Your post about positive thinking is so true. Every time I've put that into practise, things have gone well. I'm glad you reminded me.

I'm feeling very positive about Monday, this thing has to be done, and any improvement will be a bonus - I don't expect perfection.

Congratulations, Brandyleigh!

Your teeth look wonderful! You must be very excited. My braces were put on the same time as yours. Hopefully, I won't have too much longer before mine can come off.
