Toothpaste shouldn't be causing breakouts - in fact, some people use toothpaste to dry out and reduce inflammed pimples (I've tried, but it didn't work for me, although it certainly didn't make it worse).

I'm wondering if the increased breakouts are stressed-related...after all, acne is mainly caused by hormones and stress.

Maybe, but I know it's not stress or hormones in my instance. I'm less stressed at the moment than I have been for the last few years and I do not have any "hormones" cos I've been in surgical menopause for the last 3 years. I'm almost certain it's the toothpaste because I am only breeaking out in that area. :?

I would suggest start washing your face with cleansing products made for acne. I have been washing with Oxy Daily Wash Maximum for several months now, and then applying moisturizer to my face lightly after showering. That alone has reduced breakouts significantly! And I'm in my early 20s so I'm much more prone to breakouts :)

I haven't gotten any spots on my chin from the dribble, so I think it's a matter of treating your skin right

Well, I'd assume your hormones are relatively stable at your ages ;)

Some of us still are shakey :)
