Experiences with whitening?

I was just wondering, what are your experiences with whitening? I'd like to whiten, but one concern I have is that it will make the attachments more visible and look more yellow in comparison(right now they're the same color as my teeth). Does anyone have experience with that?

I haven't whitened since I got my attachments, and I don't plan to while they are on. If you do, you can be certain that once the attachments are off you will have yellow patches where they were. I'd rather wait it out while the attachments are on, then whiten everything once they are off. That's what the real goal is, right? Pretty, aligned, de-braced teeth.
