HELLO Every one... I am Sappu, 33 yrs old. I had crowded tooth from childhood(way too much crowded on lower and crowded on upper)
I consulted otho when I was 24 and then I neglected, now Iam again conserned about my crooked tooth and went for braces, I have to under go a very long painfull procedure as have bone loss and need periodontic treatment. So on July 30th 08, I was scheduled to extract 8 tooth with an oral surgeon, 4 wisodom tooth and upper 2 frist premolars and lower central incisor from right and lateral incisor from left. I took 2days off from work after extraction, I look ugly, I smile is worst...on Aug 21st I get to see periodontics dr for scaling and rootplanning, finally on Oct 3rd I got braced on upper and lower front. I have spacers between my lower moloars, This friday(oct17th) I need to see my ortho to takeout my spacers and I don't know what he is going to fix. I feel tender, eating only softfood, juices, yougurt. Brushing after every meal.
My otho said I would be in braces for 18 to 24 tmths.
Dare to see my tooth Pic's???? I din't took any pic's before braces :(

Congratulations on beginning your braces journey - you have lovely white teeth so I'm sure you'll have a Hollywood smile very soon!

Thank you guys, I was bit depressed with my tooth. After I saw your replies, I felt little better...hoping that things will get better with time.
