PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I got my braces off 5 hours ago...and my teeth moved already! I don't get my retainer till Thursday afternoon...what do I do?!

I am so upset!!! I know I obviously have to wear my retainer at night when I get it, but what the HECK?! How can they move that FAST?

So much for spending $6,500 on my mouth. :*(

I got my retainer as soon as my braces were taken off, but it was not tight enough and that night one of my extraction gaps opened up quite abit. I went back to the ortho a few days later and he adjusted my retainer and it closed right up. So try not to worry, the retainers can close up gaps.

By the way, your teeth look great.

I was able to go to my ortho today and talk to him. I told him about my concerns, and he did not seem alarmed. He took a pair of pliars and bent the wire on my new hawley. I think they are straightening them out a lil.
