I went in for what I thought was going to be the normal monthly adjustment, man was I wrong! I've had the same heavy duty wire for my top arch for going on 5 months for my powerchains, so when the assistant took it out I knew I was in trouble. Then when she asked for what I believe she called the "torque clamps" I almost screamed! Apparently it's time to start opening my 100% deep bite. I got 16x22 steel wires on both arches with bends on both ends to erupt my teeth from molars to canines along with the continuance of my powerchains on top and my Class II elastics. For the first time in I can't even remember how long I had mashed potatoes for dinner and it's looking like the same for this evening as well. Thank the Lord for Advil... that's all I'm saying. Just wanted to share with everyone what's going on.. I'm hoping soon to bite the bullet and takes pics for everyone to share my teeth even though I'm almost done. Thanks for reading!

I had those wires too and they opened up my bite perfectly in only 3 months, so hopefully you will have the same luck. It's really amazing to look in the mirror one day and bite down and notice you have the proper amount of overbite!
