Yes, and neck pain too. They force your jaw muscles to work extra hard (I'm assuming inter-arch elastics) and that can cause what you describe. I had pain when wearing triangle elastics to extrude my molars (though that was a complete waste of time... teeth intruded again but ended up slanted inward)
