Nearly done (after 3.5 years)

#1 Post by SkizzyD »

So, it's been 3.5 years (already?).

Just got back from my regular ortho appt. He made an impression of my lowers so I can get retainers for those. They're coming off in three weeks.

Top just have the slightest gap and midline to correct (talking like 1mm here). Possibly, when I get bottom retainers on, top may be done (I'm double banding now - don't look at me like that! lol) and I can get an impression for retainers made for those, too.

So very, very close now. I feel like I need to plan a party.

Lower braces are off! Ortho said is up to me when uppers come off now. I'm giving them one more month then I will be free.

I have a permanent, bonded retainer on the back of my lowers.
