I think my tooth that jutted out is starting to finally pull back. Next time I go to the ortho (5/18, my first adjustment) they're supposed to put on a thicker wire and start actively closing my gap. :BigTeethGrin: Image

Oh. My. Lord.

I've been powerchained. Now I'm getting the hit-in-the-mouth feeling. Everything is progressing great. I have one tooth that didn't get a bracket and it will get one next time (I got back in 4 weeks). She was amazed at how well I talk with my bite plate in and how much my bite has already improved. Yay for positive appointments.

Good, and you? Been super busy at work.

I went back today for new powerchains and a bracket on my tooth that didn't have one. I am feeling these stupid powerchains. They left the thicker wire on, but powerchained the newly bracketed tooth to the one next to it, and then powerchained that tooth to the next few. They're very impressed that I have done so well wearing my bite plate, and I can really feel that my bite has changed quite a bit, so hopefully I won't have to wear this thing forever. And my son is excited because he got his expander out today. We don't got back until August 16th now so hopefully the chain will mostly close my front gap.

Wow, what a difference! Especially at the last adjustment! So I guess this gap-closing thing isn't just a rumor that orthos made up. You must be pumped!
