My appt was at 10. By 10:10 the assistant had removed all the brackets. The ceramic brackets were more difficult than the stainless. No 'pain' but pressure and that cracking noise is crazy!
It took the ortho a little while to remove all the glue. That was a little difficult at times because of the cold air, but we only stopped 3 times.
He evened out my teeth, removing some of the ridges and rounded my canines off a bit. He agreed with me that they were a bit too pointy! He fit my retainers and then we got photos. Done! I was there about 75 minutes but that included me running my mouth to the ortho assistants.
I have upper and lower Hawley's and got turquoise with glitter! Yay!!
He originally said 24/7 for 30 days and then nighttime. But today said I can go straight to nightime wear only!!!
I CANNOT talk with the retainers in! LOL!!! It's like my tongue is just stuck searching for a place to be. So weird. I will probably wear my retainers from after dinner to when I get to work.
