No pain since braces

#1 Post by jtsang »

I have braces for three weeks now.. Basically no pain at all except the wire poking me in the back and feeling the brackets in my mouth.. I thought having braces is supposed to be painful..? Could this mean my teeth are not moving??

I've been in braces since January. I had no real "pain" until my adjustment last month. Maybe you're just one of the lucky ones :)

This was start/3 mos/4 mos for me

I've really on had mild discomfort, not really pain from time to time over the past year.

I am almost 3 months in, had 3 adjustments and still havent felt any pain. Well last weekend I bit with my front teeth, which I normally dont do, and had shooting pains so I guess that can count as a little pain. I was prepared for torture but have been pleasantly surprised.

MrsCharisma!! Wow!! Incredible...I really hope I have success like that too! I, also, have no real pain from my braces. It has been 5 weeks. I do not see much movement on top...but my bottom teeth have leveled out. That makes me happy!!

I've had braces since Nov. 2012 and no pain apart from the odd poling wire. I've had tons of movement so don't worry, some of us are just lucky!

It's the same with me too, no pain. I was starting to wonder if the braces aren't working since I thought no pain, no gain haha.
