Hi everyone! I started a blog to chronicle my personal journey with braces, and thought I'd share it with the community, since I've benefited from so many others' experiences and advice. I have more details about my braces, costs etc on the "About" page of the blog too.

Let me know if you have a website/blog too. I'd love to check it out!

Enjoyed your blog! I feel for you... the soft food choices can be a bit depressing. I also think the Water Pick is the best tool for the job! I still floss with the threader several times a week, but the water pick doesn't leave a trace of food particle behind.

Thanks everyone for visiting my blog!
I can't imagine what I'd do without the Waterpik. I still attempt to floss, but seriously there's nothing on the floss. Just remember to use a higher setting (above 5) and spend at least 3 seconds on each tooth -- that's what the USC study found.
I'm traveling this week and have decided to pack the Waterpik and take it with me. Thankfully I'm driving not flying, so no worries about taking up precious space.

Re: Blog: Damon braces in Los Angeles
Thanks for the compliment!
I just posted an update about my hidden tooth: it didn't get braced, but it did get a button and elastic! Details at my blog
