Wow! that's kind of amazing, i'm from Illinois and I have almost the exact time in braces you do and I'm also set to have mine off the week of 10/29. Amazing! i'm not super confident they actually will though. here's hopin!

lower braces: 3/2/10
hyrax palate expander: 3/29/10
upper braces: est. 6/2010 (8/6/10 actual)
bone plate surgery: 1/2011 actual
bone plate removal: 7/2011 actual
Debracing: 10-25-11 ACTUAL!!! advanced hawley retainer
Rebracing: 4-3-13...front teeth rotated #2s lifted.

My estimate was 22-24 months...I have never asked the ortho "how much longer?" I am contemplating asking him on my next appointment, which is on Halloween. A month or two back he said, "Ahhh...24 out of 24 months...but who's counting?"

"Um, Me! The one in the chair!" We still have some gaps to close so I don't think they will be off before the new year. Oh well, they don't bother me much and I want my teeth as close to perfect as possible so I guess what is a few more months when I had them this long???

YAY!!!!!!!! On my last visit, my ortho told me "Not much longer!" I'm crossing my fingers that it will be February (my 24 month mark!).
