This thread is a life saver! I'm going to invest in like 10 tubes of all the various products you've all recommended. If I get dry lips, I get *gasp* cold sores. Yucky!

This is what I use on my lips, and I think its amazing.
Its also edible so its really tasty.
Please forgive the sexual nature of it, but it is just fantastic on the lips.

I wish I had some right now, but its at home and I'm at work and my chapstick just isn't very soothing right now :(

I've used 'softlips' forever now, it's got just the right texture and light flavor for me. I'm a bit obsessive with it also, and feel total nekkid without it. Probably have over a dozen tubes scattered throughout my home, car, and office.

When I got my braces on, my orthodontist gave me a tube of Burts Bees and I just love it.

When I get chapped lips though, I depend on Blistex MedEx. Effective, and it's not too strong.
Braced for the third time.....

final adjustment 8/21 and debanding 8/27!

I just bought some softlips tto try (with SPF) and I love it. Tastes great, soft lips, and isn't waxy. I think I like it better than burts bees!

I've become a lib-balm addict since braces. From Walgreens generic, to Burts Bees, to SoftLips, Lip Smackers, Vaseline, even A&D ointment for those horrid cracks from dry lips from being sick. Lets not forget Aquaphor, ChapStick, Carmex and MedEx.

My favorite keeps changing. My newest addiction is kinda fun!
