THe Perfect Toothbrush

Anyone have a favorite toothbrush to use while wearing braces? I"m getting the tops ones put on tomorrow and I want to be able to keep my teeth as clean as possible.

I love my Oral B ortho toothbrush - I make sure I soak it under the hot tap first so it's soft and it works much better than any other (manual) toothbrush I've tried :)

Unlike Freckles, I was disappointed with Oral B Ortho. Well, I've used it only for a couple of days, so perhaps we'll yet become friends... (I'll try the hot water).
It's very hard and doesn't clean well around my brackets. So far a regular, manual, orthodontic toothbrush has seemed better to me.

I'm super happy with the Sonicare Elite.

I've had it for a month or so now and it's by far the cleanest my teeth have ever been aside from dental cleanings.

Sonicare Elite gets my vote too. The cleanest my teeth have ever been with a toothbrush. I've used Sonicare Advance for years, but the Elite seems to do an even better job. The only disadvantage is that the Sonicare brush heads need more frequent replacement with braces. They get pretty torn up!

I like my Oral B Pro electric. It came with an ortho head, and it's great for cleaning around my brackets. It's also greatly improved my teeth. My hygenist noticed it after the first week.

For the Sonicare users: I've heard it tickles like crazy. Is this true?

Sonicare does take a couple of weeks to get used to and the high-speed sonic vibrations do tickle, especially the gums.

My ortho gave me a orthodontic kit that had a toothbrush, floss, floss threader and dental wax. All of those products are from G.U.M They work pretty good for me!
