Hello braces at 43 years

Hello I am a new member I am a man and I am 43 years old and I just put the fixed dental braces on the teeth above and below.
I have a chewing problem that was never fixed when I was young, with skeletal second-class dentition.
In your opinion, should I also wear the headgear in adulthood?
