New to braces

Here is my braces story begins ,I'm 27 years . my upper front teeth used to bother me cause they are inclined outwards , they annoy me always when I smile .but my ortho told me that my lower teeth also need to be straighten . I started having my braces on May 2014 , I'm having them now for 3 months I can see some progress but not the desired yet
I will have 2 extraction after 1 months , and I don't know why my ortho didn't do the extraction before I got my braces on .

Hi there! I'm 26 and getting braces for the first time. I'll have the get 4 extractions in the near future. I bet you will start to see more movement and improvement once you get those extractions.

I got an appointment yesterday , I got the thickest wire for my upper teeth , I was told that my next appointment I'm gonna have 2 upper extractions and start the journey of fixing my overjet .
I almost have my upper teeth aligned after 3 months , but actually there were already straight somehow.
As for my lower teeth , I still have 2 thicker wires than the one I'm having now. I have some gaps due to an old extraction for 2 molar teeth , so I will need no extractions . Yaaay
Also my lower teeth are inclined outwards a little bit.
