Thank you, SunshineRay! I really wanted a well documented extraction case on the web... There aren't many and there's so many people out there providing misleading information about extractions and trying to scare people who may really benefit from them away from doing it.

I'm trying to be optimistic about July... I'm not so sure though. I see another tooth that needs a bracket repositioned and I'm still not sure if the tooth that had a bracket repositioned last time is going to cooperate. Maybe I'll call and be a pest and see if they can work me in before June 18th to reposition this other bracket?

I totally DID do that today, KT! LoL! I figured since I paid them for 2 years of treatment but I will be done well before then, they can make it worth my time and money. They got me in on June 3rd!! I'm keeping the appt on June 18th too.. So hopefully I'll have a fighting chance of running around naked for 4th of July weekend! :)

I went to my appointment today and I'm pretty excited... I'll be on track for deband in July as long as nothing crazy happens! :D
I mentioned the tooth I felt needed to be moved like this \ ... but ortho told me if we did that it would take a while because it would involve moving the root. The root is where it's supposed to be. I'm getting bonding done anyway so I'm gunna leave it alone.
They shaved my lowers to be level. I didn't think that would work but it did and they look awesome!!!!

Ortho said the bite would settle so she wasn't concerned about the posterior open bite. She gave me a different elastic configuration anyway to close it.
I also asked about retainers... they make them on site and I'll get them the same day! Totally excited about that!

Wow, the lowers do look great!!! It's crazy they can do stuff like that. I'm glad it worked out and you didn't have to spend extra time in braces. Fingers crossed the elastics close up the bite a bit!!

OMG.. 23 more days! This will be the longest 23 days of my life! :( for some reason my mouth is shredded like hamburger meat right now :(

Thanks, Pickle!! I'm so excited.. it's all I can think about. I'm probably driving everyone crazy right now!

I made my appointment to get bonding done on July 29th after a quick stop at ortho to get permanent retainer removed... then I go back on July 31st to get it put back on.
Shortly after that I'll have impressions made for the Vivera Retainers!!!

Thank you, Anna! You're so sweet! I am obsessed with getting them off! It's all I think about! I found this picture of me from a few years ago.. I can't wait to not look snaggle-tooth in anymore pictures!!

But I love your before picture too, I honestly think your teeth weren't bad at all before, even lovely, but now they are perfect!
