I am 17 months and 2 days into treatment as of today, so I thought I'd post an update
I have an appointment this Thursday, the 15th. I'm hoping to maybe get a tentative date of removal since I was told last time I was very close to the end...
My bite feels perfect. I only have a few complaints that need addressed.
I'll post pictures to illustrate my problem areas.
Here's what I think needs fixed:
#1 I have a lower lateral incisor the bracket is supposed to repositioned on at my next appt to move it into the gum and get rid of black triangle.
#2 My bite still appears open on the sides.... but it 'feels' closed.
#3 I'm not sure if my overjet is at an acceptable amount??
That's it! Everything else is perfect to me!!! Fingers crossed for good news Thursday!

I'm so excited! I have a deband date scheduled for July 2nd @ 10:50 am. Before the deband appt. I have a check up appointment scheduled on June 18th to make sure everything is in it's place.

At my adjustment today I had the lower central incisor bracket repositioned to close black triangle.
I had a molar bracket repositioned to close the posterior open bite I was complaining about. Wire was changed on the lower arch to a thicker stainless steel finishing wire. New powerchains were applied.
My elastics were changed to a lighter and larger size to hold bite in place. Doc said bite was perfect now. (I agree)

I'm not getting my hopes up in case something happens that my teeth aren't ready for deband on that date.
I want everything to be the way I want it to be before I get them off.

I had an emergency appointment to replace a broken lower wire... Not sure how it was broken but it happened two days after it was placed last week
So I'm all fixed up now!

I've actually been wearing my elastics so hopefully I'll get debanded as scheduled July 2nd.. I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE! LOL

I feel like I have so many things I need to do after my braces come off, I'll probably drive my ortho nuts!! HEHE
