I love love love the colour of your ligs! I hope your extraction sites are healing well, you should be back to eating regular food in no time. I only had one tooth extracted but I was good to eat whatever after a week. Good luck with your lowers, I hope you get some radical new colours. *and thanks for the well wishes :D

@ AM21 thats for the words of advice. I have the waterpik and I LOVE IT!! It makes your mouth feel so nice and clean. I have only been using it on my top arch since the extractions because I did not want to blast open my extraction site. I will start using it on the lower arch again once I have my lower wire and bands put on.

@ Gilly I just love trying colors. I think I will stick with this color when I get the bottom wire put on. I hope your pain goes away soon.

Hello All,

So, I am finally starting to be able to get some real food!! I had spaghetti tonight at work and it went down pretty well. My only problem is in about a week I will be at the soft foods again as I will be getting my bottom wire put on. I guess I better enjoy the food while I have the chance!!!

I got my wires on at the same time but found my uppers hurt a lot more than the lowers so hopefully you won't be back to mush for too long! Also if the weight loss continues I would really reccomend getting a protein drink like sustagen or ensure to make sure you are getting the things you need. I have managed to not lose any weight since getting my braces on thanks to protein drinks which is really helpful, they also help keep you more full, because I don't know about you but when I'm hungry I'm cranky and especially mean to people who get to enjoy yummy food!

Great movement though - your teeth will be amazing!

Thanks Star!

I tried the Ensure, but did not like the flavor. I had the Vanilla flavor. I am going to try the chocolate to see how that works. I get very miserable when I can't eat, but now I can eat a little so I will try to eat up before the lowers go on!

Hey CC!!

The feasting is going ok. I really have not had an appetite lately for some reason, but when I do I eat ok. On Monday I really will be eating a good meal because on Tuesday the bottom wire goes on and I will be just like you with my bottom and top wires!!!

Hi Nicole,

Yes, I did experience some sore on my bottom lips about 2 weeks ago. They did not occur until I had those two teeth pulled on the bottom. Who would have thought that having those teeth pulled would cause sores! It is all better now. I am just waiting on Tuesday to come bc thats when I get my lower bands and brackets! I know the pain will start all over again and it will be back to eating nothing but soft foods again for about a week. Hopefully it does not last that long bc I am suppose to be going on vacation the following Tuesday and would hate not being able to eat while I am on vacation... I also just woke up from a crazy dream. I dreamed all my brrackets fell off my teeth and my teeth turned green from where the brackets were. I woke up SCARED!! :yikes: Then, I decided to go back to sleep and the dream started all over again with this time all my teeth fell out and my mom was sewing all my teeth back in with the braces. I do not know where these dreams are coming from. Lol! So this time I just decided to stay up and get on here.

I'm glad to hear that your extractions went well. I am really scared to have my wisdom teeth out but reading your story and others is making me feel a little better.
Your teeth are looking great! Good luck with getting your bottom brackets on!
