twelveAM's Story - PICTURES!

#1 Post by twelveAM »

Hey guys, I'm one of the younger people on this board (13, to be exact). I was searching the internet 24/7 about braces and such, because I was nervous at first. So, here's my story. :D

Problems: Crossbite, Crowding.
Treatment time: 18-24 months

April 13, 2005

I have an 8:00 AM appointment at my orthodontist to get my braces on. It took about one hour, and everything went fine. At first, I was thinking "Aw, this doesn't hurt at all.". Well, of course, I was wrong, and three hours later my teeth start to hurt. I have some soup for dinner for the next two days.

Well, 3 days with braces! I'm still quite a bit sore, but not as much. However, I was able to eat a Filet-O-Fish sandwich from McDonalds today! It did hurt a bit, but I bared with it. I have an upcoming trip to a restaurant with my class and we'll be eating a Greek Salad and mini cheeseburgers. I'm not sure if I'll be able to accomplish that in 3 days (It's on Tuesday). Well, haven't noticed much of anything yet.

EDIT: I don't know why, but it doesn't work when I try to post pictures, so until someone helps me, here are links:

This tooth will probaly take a while to get straightened out with the rest.

you should focus your camera on taking pictures as they come out a little out of focus...

Anyway welcome on board of your Braces journey...

And good luck with your lunch/dinner out...
