First I wanna say a HUGE hello to all you brace faces out there u seem like a great bunch of people

So im 22, and I finally took th plunge and got my top braces fitted 3 days ago! Am having top and bottom damon 3s. One problem.. my ortho is a man of few words.. jus gets on with the job so am not really sure how long i will have them on for and what the nature of the problem of my teeth is! I was jus soo excited at the consult that he was saying yes to me getting braces that when i had left i thought ahh il jus ask all the questions next time im in and then on tuesday, I was soo excited bout getting braced a jus wanted to run out of the place and show everyone! so yes next time i wil be able to confirm the ins and outs!
From looking around the board i think that a have an overbite and an overjet?! il post pics if anyone can confirm this!

When i sat in the chair at the first consult he actually advised that i should get veneers or filler in my teeth jus to make my smile wider, but i thought to myself wait a minute how muh do a full set of veneers cost! lol more than braces...? So yes i jus opted for fixed braces!

Wel 3 days in and not alot of pain so far, am jus really being stabbed by the wire at the back on ma right side! hope my cheek jus hardens up and i can take the pain lol

Im going back for my first adjustment and to get the bottom braces on in 6weeks! cannot wait!!

I know all about the first few days of braces, I will never forget mine!! Congrats to you on your big step! And kudos to you for taking them head-on!! When I got mine I was so depressed, I wouldn't talk for days just nod and shake my head with the occassional shoulder shrug...then I got hungry and had to order food from McDonalds drive thru so ha then I had to open my mouth up.
