sooo i got my damon braces on about a week ago (top 6 clear rest metal) and so far not really any big changes! i will post a pic of my teeth before but i worn you they are extremely ugly



okay now that the worst parts over....i will post updated pics once i actually see some changes! i really hope that these gosh darn canines come down! wish me luck with the damons no pain so far i guess that means they're not working!!! lol!

could anyone please tell me how long it takes for top canines to come down if anyone's ever had the same case as me?

BUT ANYWAY,
so random but don't you hate it when you eat food and you think you got all the food out and then later in the day food particles come out of no where and you can just taste leftovers later that day? soo gross ughh i hate my braces! hahaha

Wow your teeth are exactly like mine except I think mine are a little worse. I just got my braces on about a month ago. (I still haven't posted pictures) Good luck and I am sure they are going to look amazing when all is said an done.

so its been three weeks already and no actual changes!

my bottom teeth hurt a lot more than the top and my stupid canines wont come down still! ughhh i want progress!!

I also have the damon clear. I'm not even at the one month mark and at first I was the only one to notice it but they are moving slowly! Where you have two wonky canine, I have one. But its moving back into line and for the first time my lower canines touch my upper canines.

Can we have another round of applause for the damons? lol

WOW it's been forever since i've updated!
so basically i've had braces for around 9 months now and i'm really happy that they're starting to straighten out!
the only problem is that i still have a major overbite and my ortho wants to extract 4 teeth out!! yikes!
so i'm really nervous about that..hope it's not as painful as the wisdoms were. apparently i am getting two in the back top taken out and two in the back bottom so hopefully you won't be able to notice the gaps.

here is a brand new updated pic of my teeth! i am really happy with the front ones they are perfectly straight, but the bottoms are being really annoying and still haven't fully straightened out yet. i will keep you guys updated on the extraction process but it looks like i still have a long way to go sigh

oh my gosh over a whole year since i've updated! a lot has happened since i last posted. unfortunately i am still braced i had to get 4 teeth removed so it's going a bit slower than expected...pics will be up soon though! everything is completely straight but i still need to get elastics to close up the spaces in the top and bottom backs of my teeth that you can't really see...but it's supposed to help my overbite. it's been well over a year and i want these things off before my 20th birthday in december! ahh a girl can only dream

Oh wow, what great progress! My teeth are far more crooked than from what you started from but progress pics like these give me hope and affirm my choice to get braces. Did your orthodontist give you an estimation of when they'd come off? What was his original estimation at the time of your consultation?

oh thanks so much! gosh it's been a while since i've posted i must update!!!
but yes my ortho gave me an estimate of a year and a half-two years
it's almost been a year and a half and i'm still waiting for these darn gaps to close where they took out teeth!!! it's so frustrating! i'm on elastics now and my teeth are perfectly straight but we're still waiting on the gaps to close and my bite to change sigh
it is a lengthy process but the permanent results are worth it. sorry for the delayed response and thanks for your support i'm sure your teeth will turn out lovely in the end!

wow it's been a while since i've posted!
i'm currently wearing elastics only on one side to even out my bite and waiting on gaps to close from where they did the 4 bicuspids extraction in june...it's sure taking forever but i am anxiously waiting for the amazing results!!
