Looks good!! :D
You really can't see the top ones, that's really cool! :)

Hope your mouth is feeling better too.. believe me, I definitely understand the pain of not being able to chew or bite down! Had surgery the other day and still have pain and stitches in the roof of my mouth lol! :)

I can't get that close with my handy-dandy digital. I need to use the big complicated one. Can't "do it myself" with that one.

My hubby comes home from a business trip on Friday and I will get to work on that this Friday...maybe I can get my 10 year old to help before that...she's WAY smarter than I am at this stuff, she's the one who figured out to do the image sharing thing  .

thanks for the interest and reply!

Jennie, congratulations on getting the hardware installed!
They look great, as others have mentioned, the tops are almost invisible!

Here's a few tips on the photo thing:
Use "macro" mode if you have it (lets you get in real close) - often marked with a flower icon on the camera selector

Plug the output from your camera into the video in on your TV - that way you can see a nice widescreen image to help line up the shot.

Don't forget to take pictures often - you will be amazed at how fast your teeth move - but sometimes it's hard to tell unless you have the photos to compare.

Good luck and hope you are feeling better and able to eat solid food soon!

Thanks for the info Doug!! I never thought of using the TV so I can see what the heck I'm taking a picture of!

My little camera has a mirror just below the lense so I can see with that one. It does have a macro setting, but the resolution isn't fantastic with it.

Here's a link to the macro pic I took with it.

Hubby is back home now so once he's finished with the yard work I've set him to work on, we'll try the better camera.

I'll post here if I get a better picture.

Your teeth generally look pretty good, especially your bottoms. You're going to see dramatic results with your uppers in no time. Take plenty of pics now, because in 6 to 9 months, your smile will look so different!

Thanks for posting the pics!

Okay, it's been 11 weeks and so far, it's been fascinating, annoying, and VERY REWARDING!

Here's a before picture and one I took today.

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that my ortho knows what he's doing and oh ya, I am a HUGE fan of "speed braces"

Image First week

Image Fifth week

Image 11th week

Image 10 months

my bottom teeth aren't so pretty...YET! But I see LOTS of movement and I get a new wire on them next adjustment.

Wow your teeth are aligning so nicely.
The first few months are the best in terms of being able to rapid movement. I feel like my teeth have barely moved in the past 3 months.
Keep up the great progress.

Wow! You got rid of your rollercoaster too! It's so interesting to watch your progress since we seem to be on the same schedule with adjustments and all. Can't wait to see the next batch of pictures!

Jennielee! I think it's so funny that you ate Reese's on your first day. I did the exact same thing. The evening I got it done, I was STARVING and I hadn't eaten anything since 7am the day of so I got to a convenience store and looked for something I could eat quickly. Ta Da! There were the Reese's staring at me like a miracle in the isle. It was the best peanut butter cup I have ever eaten. Your teeth look great!

Mine got the "go command" at about 4 weeks. Once they started, there was no stopping them.

The right one moved first and the left (higher) one waited for it to finish before starting it's decent. It was so hard to be patient, but now it seems like it happened very fast.

Hang in there!

Thanks for the encouragement, Jennielee! It's been 3 weeks for me, so I'll give them another week before going to claim my money back
