Saturday is my 26th birthday :( so bittersweet. :-)o

I getting closer to my 5th month. I am sorry I have been so flakey here but honestly sometimes I forget I even have braces and can't believe I waited so long because of what a big deal I thought they'd be. They really aren't other than the positive stuff but everyone is so suppotive about so I think that's why I forget.

Mr snaggle tooth is down he made it home a little through the third onth mark. I am working on my lower teeth to get that one tooth home so they are trying to creat a gap with a wire I think the term he used wans "engage it"

I got my uppers filed and that felt so weird next adjustment is on October 4, and they are filing my lowers.

I lov emy braces and I love my teeth I can't wait to whiten them once they are off only 13 more months to go. :D

Hey cosmo!

Girlfriend, I'm right there with you on the whitening thing. I figure if I start saving now, I may have enough to get my teeth whitened once debraced (I'm being pessimistic and thinking I'll have them for the full 2 years). I'll probably end up like my Facebook friends, posting tons of pics of themselves.

So glad to hear Mr. Snaggletooth is making his way to his proper home.

Doesn't the tooth filing make such a huge difference? I can't wait until all of mine are filed and straight. :D

I love my braces, too! I still stare at them all day. I guess I AM that vain.

Keep up the wonderful attitude!

Hey Cosmo how's it going? Explain to me what exactly is "tooth filing"? Are they filing down your teeth? If so...my god do I hope your dentist has a steady hand!!!!! Post some pics of before and after so I can see what your talking about. Oh ya, and have a great weekend!!! :crazy:

Hey Cosmo glad to know your happy with your teeth! Was the filing achy? I'd like to have some filing for my jagged incisors, but I suspect it'll be rather painful...

My teeth are nice and straight, but they flare out quite a bit, and I'm afraid I look a bit like a grouper now. =p
My teeth were sentenced on 7th May 2010 to be imprisoned for 2 years.

yes it's weird he filed my uppers and lowers. It felt so uncomfortable and the sound OMG the sound. My bottom middle teeth were a tad ragged he had to file the to straighten them out for my bite infact I didn't even let him finish he said we will do a little at a time. I seriously need to get ont hose pics. It's just so hard with school :(

I've only had IPR a couple of times and ohmygosh I can't stand that sound! I know it's probably the LEAST painful thing that's gone on in my mouth since I started my braces last January, but it freaks me out!!!! Makes a lovely difference, but still...
