today i went back in as i had wire poking me on the left side top an bottom, the dr wasnt in the office as they were technically only open for emergencies
the assistant said he thinks i am chewing more on one side causing the wire to move
2 brackets the wires werent fully "engaged" so he fixed that
and my molar band thats collecting food, he adjusted it or somthing so its now flatter on the tooth
i feel it will raise an start getting food in a few weeks, but ill have to wait an see
my 1st adj is next week

Hope your ortho sorts something out, I had one of my brackets loose but luckily just 2 days before my adjustment.
Good luck with your treatment, it will be so worth it!! :)

Sounds like bonding issues and mak sure you bring to attention that molar band the next time you go in. For now, keep a close eye on that band and make sure you don't get any funky smells coming out of it. I hope things get sorted out at your next adjustment!!!!

finally got my 1st adjustment done, nothing was done to the bottom,
the top, the wire as removed, missing bracket put back on, the same wire put back in
the ortho commented that my lower premolars were rotating nicely (1 was being stubborn tho)

had my second adjustment this week, they said they arent upgrading my wire until my teeth are more straightened out and my arch is more rounded
since the wire moves around she out 2 ligs on my molar band to prevent it from moving
they said its coming along nicely
i really dont see too much changes

Hey Ken,
Thing is I didnt really have much of a bite problem, the pics i have up i had my mouth slightly open for some of the pics, i have more or less a normal bite (no open bite, underbite, or overbite)
I guess thats why I dont see much change?
