 Welp, today was the adjustment I was hoping would be fruitful.....nada.

Ortho put another spring in addition to the ones I already have on (i'm up to four) and the bite Turbo is STILL on

He was actually happy with my progress, and said if all goes as planned the turbo will be off at my next appt. Sept. 30th. He doesn't think my jabber tooth will be bracketed/braced probably until Oct!!!
I am bummed to say the least. I am so self conscious about the gd jabber tooth! i find myself covering my mouth alot while I am talking. It didn't help that my husband said it looks like a popcorn kernel just hanging out in my mouth either......lol.

so, that was that. no new wires, just another spring.

I will post pics again when i begin to see more space form on the bottom.

:jump: Let's hear it for my BEST day in braces YET!!!

Started the day out breaking a bracket off of my back tooth while eating a bowl of Kashi cereal. Called my ortho who told me to come in and guess what............THE TURBO IS GONE!!! MY TEETH WERE SHAVED/SHAPED SO MY JABBERTOOTH COULD BE BRACKETED AND BRACED!!!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I am SOOOOOOO happy!!! I've been waiting for this day since Feb. when I had the first spring put on and the dreaded blue turbo bites applied!

My mouth is as sore as a mo-fo but that just makes me happier because I know stuff is MOVIN!!!

Inititally I wasn't supposed to have my adjustment until the 30th of this month.....so I didn't think this it'd be happening for a WHILE....Hooray for emergency visits!!!!!!! :rawk:

Here's to unexpected surprises. I'm sure it's going to be a great party having all your toothers start getting in line and doing the can-can. Can I get in line, YES I CAN!

What you're feeling is not pain. Its the result of too many happy dancing teeth partying as their long lost brother comes into line. You might want to look and catch them, but you won't be able to. They're too clever for that.

I wore braces (this time) for 1294 days or 3 years, 6 months and 17 days.
But who's counting?

I wrote it while suffering my office's lack of air conditioning. So far it hasn't been below 85 since August 15.

I'm a wee bit irritated about it.

I'm glad I brought a smile to your face.
