#1 Post by commonpeople » Wed Jan 09, 2008 1:30 pm

Hi! I am 21 and getting braces next week. I have read this forum for long, and now i registered myself to tell about my teeth.
I have crowded teeth, overbite and crossbite.

The first brace in my treatmentplan is a highpull headgear. I get it the 17 of Jan..Than i show the first picture of it.

Nice to be here!

hello and welcome!

Good luck for the 17th. Remember to ask lots and lots of questions to your ortho. If you feel in control of your treatment it will be a better experience and you'll be more confident.

Everybody says it, but its true... it will be worth it in the end!!!

Lisa65; Yes..it was fun to see that you also had a headgear! cause i have never seen so many people who must wear that.
I should not wear brackets under the headgear.

commonpeople: Welcome. I'm another swede hanging around here. Hope that your first appointment went well. Hedgear are quite fascinating and I have wondered if it could have helped me moving my upper arch some. I'm using elastics to do that and it works quite well so it might be enough. :)

Yes you have to post them to a site like Photobucket or Imageshack and then copy the link into your Archwired post.

Then just add these image tags on either side of the link: and you're done :D
