Oh, I thought I had a mouthful with my expander but that sagittal appliance probably beats it. The good thing obviously is that it is removable so you don't have to eat wearing it?
Case: Impacted canines, crowding & crossbite.
Treatment: SARPE 2004/10/6, RPE 2004/9/28 - 2005/1/31, w-arch until 2005/11/22, impacted canines extracted 2005/5/18.
Braces on: top 2005/6/2, bottom 2005/8/30.

Hi,
I just looked at your before pics, you have more of your lower teeth showing then I did in my before pics.
My before pic:

After one year of treatment:

As you can see in the above pic I now have bottom teeth visable.
I have Gac In-ovation brackets (self-ligating). I got my braces Dec 29 2003. My estimated treatment time is 27 months. I got my braces off Dec 5 2005 after 23 months and 1 week.

Hi,
I did not have any appliances to help with the overbite. I am currently in class II elastics to fix the overbite which I still have. My dentist had told me many years ago that I had an overbite and crossbite. I had never heard of a bite plate before comming here. I guess I am very lucky that I did not need one.

Michele

p.s. did you find my story??
