I've been a little better but still not really in the mood to be online. Sorry guys, I have pics but I just don't want to be at my computer. I'd rather be out and about. I will update with pics another time.

Ok guys, I'm back! I've been so bad and have not worn my rubberbands. I bet I'll be getting a koby hook next adjustment. Also, I will definitely post pictures tomorrow. By now, my lovely, baby blue powerchains have turned a nasty grey. WOW....

Again, I have not been able to update with pics as promised. I am a liar! I will have to update soon. I have metallic blue ligs and they kind of look like royal purple.

WOW....I have really been MIA! I've been busy up the wazooo with work and school. I have good news though! I have not been debanded yet, but I was told at my last adjustment in the beginning of the month, that I am looking at 3 months or so. We're just finishing up the midline and some spacing for my implant. My jaw nearly dropped when he sat down and said that he needed to go over a couple things and told me that he was taking an x-ray to check the roots on a couple molars and then told me I was looking at a way early debanding! WOOOHOOO!!!! 36 months cut down to less than 2 years! I can't wait for my next appointment to see how the roots on the two molars are coming along. I'm still in my class 2 rubberband on the right, and it looks like I will be for the duration of my treatment. I haven't really taken any pics but I will see what I can come up with.

I had an adjustment on 10/29 where I had more IPR on my uppers, had a spring added back into the plan, added a night time class II elastic on the left, got a koby hook on the right lateral to put more pressure back into my class II elastic on the right, and then a set a powerchains to seal it all in. I really can't believe how great my bite feels. Hopefully, I can have these babies off right before the new year or before Valentine's Day. I can't wait! Also, I got a new car and I'm slowly getting excited about it. It has been about 2 weeks since I've had it and so far, so good. Well, I guess I'll be by to update again, hopefully before my next adjustment on the 19th of Nov.

I was leaving work and I got a call from the ortho. It turned out that the doctor wasn't going to be in next week so the moved me up to today. I didn't mind because my powerchains were bright yellow from two days of hot dogs and mustard. As he was looking at my teeth he said "WOW!! If you keep wearing your braces..." Then he walked away. I'm assuming it ends something like "...then you'll get a debanding date." But today I have both upper and lower 18x25 wires, I'm in some pain but it's not bad. I still have my spring on the left and I only have to wear my right class II elastic. He took away the left elastic for now but he sounded very pleased. Also, my next payment will be my last ortho payment! WOOHOOO!!!! How nice would it be to get a debanding date at the same time as my last payment?! I should start thinking about my cute retainers! What design should I get? Kitty cat? Bunny? Strawberry? Lady bug?

Hey Miss Smiley! Your teeth are looking awesome! They're a nice shape and will look even more stunning when your treatment is over. Best of luck :)

OKAY! Good news! I was supposed to have a possible debanding for the past 3 ortho visits. BUT...I didn't like that my midline was still off by a hair, its literally a hair. Today, he asked if I thought I was ready but I told him I would bear with the elastic just another month if we're so close to perfect. He smiled and said "They look really good, but we can wait." So I said "Okay! I'll take red on top and hot pink on the lowers!" So for my very last adjustment, hopefully, I will have valentine's day themed colors! I would show you all some pics but I seemed to have lost my camera after a wonderful day of snowboarding a couple of weeks ago.

After this leg of the journey is over, I will venture onto the next with my implant and restorations. Oh and I will have a boring temporary essix retainer and I requested no bonded retainer but may need to if my teeth try to rotate. After my restorations, I will get a new retainer which will be a hawley type. Design, I'm not sure. Bunny, kitty, fruit, sparkly with stars? Too many choices!
