How is your progress going??

I'm in Melbs too and getting braced early next year.
Its really encouraging to see exactly how much change can be done with braces. Your bottom tooth moving so far is exceptional!

Hi Chris. Looks awesome! I am just wondering- as your lowers do all that movement, are you feeling any loosesness in those four front lowers? I am, tho I have bone loss, and I am just wondering if others do.

to answer your question Kate, yep most of the 4 are quite loose, especially the tooth that just came in, and that's perfectly normal. Thanks again for everybodies comments! muchly appreciated :)

Hi Chris, glad too see your bottom teeth have lined up! Its a great feeling when you can finally look in the mirror and see the little guys that have been hiding behind the others finally having come forward to stand with their friends isn't it?!

Hi guys!

I know i haven't written on here for a while now! i missed out on a month or so of taking pics, however - not a great deal has changed. My bottom row have gotten pretty straight!

Now its just a matter of changing the bottom wire to a rectangular wire to create some torque and rotate the roots forward. The top is coming along quite well, i've had a power chain on a for a couple months now, the first time it went on, gosh the pain!! now its all fine :)

So here we, here's 2 picture i just took this morning! nearly 70 weeks into the whole progress!!

A huge change in comparison to the initial shots back on the first few pages of my blog!!! :) :)

Fabulous blog and pictures. You've really given me an idea of what my ortho has planned. I have a major wayward tooth that needs to come in line with the others, but there is barely any room right now. Sometimes, I feel like its an almost impossible task to make the space. Nice to see your pics and realize that it will happen eventually:D Your teeth are looking great!
