Thanks Victor!

Anyways I have another appointment on January 8th and I want the Archwired familys opinion... This may be my last adjustment or it may not be... I have a few colors I'm thinking of and would like your opinion on this subject matter:

Color Choices: Colors will be in the form you see below top color/bottom color
(Top/Bottom)
Red/Pink
Red/Red
Blue/Red
Pink/Pink

Any other options! Oh and yes I'm thinking of actually going with a pink just for laughs and to win a bet against my cousin.

Tim,

I wish I had a pic of my retainers from years ago..... They were hawley's and they were red, white, and blue with the Harley-Davidson #1 on the top...bottom was ust r,w,and b......but they were so cool.

Pink and Pink, go bright or go home! Hahahaha! My ortho uses all three types of retainers in his office. Two cousin's just had a bonded lower and hawley upper. One cousin had bonded lowers and upper essix but after her surgery she got bonded lowers and upper/lower hawleys. I hope to have no bonded and just hawleys, I'm afraid of the teeth being suctioned in all day.

Exactly my point. Also if I'm approved to get in the airforce they would want hawly retainers or essix they don't want any metal in there for some reason i.e. bonded retainers.

Keep the suggestions coming for the colors for the braces and I will post an update on what colors I went with and how much longer I will have in braces!

I'd personally say go with the red/blue, unless of course the pink will earn you some money in that bet!

.: UPDATE ADJUSTMENT NUMBER 9:.

Well today January 8, 2008 I had my ninth adjustment and found something out that I really like… First off I will tell what had happened at the appointment. I went in at my normal 9am appointment was called to the chair and everything went as normal, the first thing I asked after the Ortho did his open close routine was how much longer is my teeth sentenced to jail? He said that I’m scheduled to get braces off in September of this year :( damn I was hoping earlier however he did say that he doesn’t want to give my hopes up but he’s expecting treatment to be completed by mid to late June “WOOHOOâ€

Red and Pink kinda thinking already about my next colors... As for the question about insurance when I left HomeDepot that insurance closed out and they didnt' pay for it all up front like they said they would... Well now I'm stuck with having to pay the remaning balance before my date of getting naked.

Looking good Tim. Here's hoping for a June release for your teeth.

Thanks for telling your story...
I have to say your teeth look great!

I'm going tomorrow to have my brackets bonded onto my teeth and I'm a bit manic... can't watch TV, can't read, so I'm here reading the site....

I wanted to add that my braces are going to cost me $5000 and my insurance has a $1500 lifetime limit. So I'm going on a payment plan with my Ortho, $1000 down and the rest in payments.

When you have major bite issues, crowded teeth, worn teeth, etc... these things effect so many things... how we sleep, headaches, etc... I sure wish insurance companies would contribute more to correcting these things.....

again -- the last photos you posted look good!
