hi anni, i'm 23 from uk and get my braces the day after you, friday! not long now...if you're reading this before you get the braces tomorrow then good luck, if you're reading it after then i hope all went ok. i was gonna have ceramic but have now decided to go with metal and pink ligs, cute! bye for now

The braces are on - and I got baby pink ligs yessssss!

Not sure what I think of them yet...I feel a bit ugly...but we'll see...

I think a shopping trip is in order to cheer me up :(

Well it has been 23 days...and i've had no pain or anything so far (touch wood!)...a little movement...not much though...I have pics to post, i'm just going to ready the FAQ to see how to post them...

sounds like you've gone through alot already, and still have such a postivie attutde! congrats on getting tohrough the hardest part of the braces journey- if you need help posting pics, let us know! :) http://www.photobucket.com/ and imageshak are places where you can upload your images then use that url to post them :)

I hope i've done it right...


I didn't think there had been any movement...but when I look at the pics there is a slight difference and i can feel my tongue running along the backs of my teeth differently.

great progress and wonderful pictures! :)

you can defiantely see that archwire pushing those impacted teeth into their proper positions! :) isn't it fun feeling and seeing the changes? make braces worth while :)
