It would be great if your two centrals were level by Monday ( which looks distinctly possible). Your ortho could then re-position the bracket on the right central and get you back into a bigger wire so that you could consolidate the new position of that tooth and do any final detailed movement prior to debracing.

Good luck to us both on Monday!

Sounds like great progress. Please post pics. Maybe you will have talk of debracing date at your next appointment? 5 weeks is not far away. I have 7 weeks until my next appointment.

Ok Folks, at last they are off :)

Although they aren't completely perfect they're 100 times better than they were :), have to say though that since they came off and I have had the retainers in for the last week my bite isn't quite right.. my top and bottom canines seem to be hitting which is preventing me closing my teeth together!! I think I will live with it for now and see how it settles! I go back in 2 months so will see then. I also notice my bottom teeth aren't really vertical, a few of them slant to one side! Don't think anything can be done now about that!??

Also, having the retainers is somewhat more bothersome than the braces when it comes to eating and drinking!!! Top retainers in all the time except when eating and drinking when they must come out first... doesn't half put you of snacking!!

I have an appointment next week to see about whitening, I'll be interested to hear what they can do as my front left tooth has a root canal so probably wouldn't react to whitening.. perhaps internal bleaching. Fingers crossed they can finish off my smile makeover :).

What sort of retainers do you have? Do you have to wear them 24/7?
